A fully playable mini retro desktop operating system in a window you can use.

Boot it up and you get a complete pixel-art desktop: draggable windows, a taskbar, a Start menu, wallpapers, an optional CRT-scanline filter, and a bouncing-logo screensaver — all wrapped in a chunky, deliberately retro aesthetic. But under the hood, every app actually works.

• Drag, resize, snap-to-edge, maximize, and minimize windows just like a real OS
• File manager; search, drag-to-reposition icons, and a proper Trash (soft delete + restore)
• Fullscreen toggle, adjustable brightness, custom wallpapers and accent colors
• Runs as a single-file AppImage on Linux or a portable .exe on Windows — no install required

📝 Genuinely useful productivity apps

• Writer — a real paginated word processor. Pages actually break and flow like Word/LibreOffice, Reads and writes actual .docx files, plus one-click Export to PDF
• Browser — a real web browser with an address bar and back/forward/reload, not an embedded iframe trick
• PDF Reader — full zoom, page thumbnails, and printing via Chromium's real PDF engine
• Media Player — plays your local video and audio files
• File Manager, Text Editor, and even a bit of Windows support — run real .exe apps through a Wine compatibility layer
